Swiftwater Electric & Solar Builds Community Resilience with Award-Winning Installation in Friday Harbor, WA
Swiftwater Electric & Solar is helping strengthen community resilience with a 49.8 kW solar + storage installation at a local church in Friday Harbor, WA—earning recognition in the APsystems Project of the Year Awards.
Designed as a reliable energy hub during outages, the system provides a place for residents to gather and access power when the grid goes down—delivering both energy savings and peace of mind in a region where outages are common.
To power the system, Swiftwater turned to APsystems DS3 microinverters, a solution they’ve trusted across many installs.
“We’ve used AP microinverters extensively as a company,” said David Nicol, General Manager of Swiftwater Electric & Solar. “AP is by far the best choice from a technological, cost, and warranty standpoint.”
